MainPower Amberley Pool gears up for another bumper season

Hurunui’s MainPower Amberley Pool is gearing up for another bumper season, says Hurunui Council’s Customer Services Manager Naomi Woodham.

“Admission fees have been kept at last year’s prices and we’re bringing back all the great programmes we offered last year.”

The opening of the 2024-25 season will be at 1pm on Saturday 26 October.

For those serious about their fitness training, preliminary applications for the adult membership season passes are now open and close at noon on Monday 16 September.

“These provide entry out of hours to competent adult swimmers for lane swimming or aqua jogging to enable them to work on their training and fitness. Because there won’t be lifeguards on duty during these times, membership season holders must be competent swimmers and have completed a health and safety induction,” says Woodham.
