2025 Boating
& Water Safety Experience for Families
- The Safe Boating programme is a New Zealand Coastguard initiative and includes
in-water survival techniques, essential safety equipment (e.g. correct
lifejacket selection and fitting), the importance of communications, and taking
responsibility for personal safety. More information on these 50 minute sessions is available

Toddlers Pool – the lovely warm 33degree pool is open during all public sessions. It is also open during the 10.30am – 1pm timeslot that the main pool is only open for lane swimming, but please note that preschoolers with their caregivers may not use the main pool during these swimming-only sessions.
