A chat about culverts - Over the next few weeks until mid-year, Hurunui District Council will be undertaking culvert renewals and repairs.

Why do we renew and repair culverts?

Good drainage means safer roads. If rain and stormwater can drain off the roads easily and fast, it means less slippery driving and biking conditions. Also, less pooling of water means less potholes. This work will be done on sealed and unsealed roads.
