PUBLIC HOLIDAY 28 October 2024

With the public holiday on Monday 28 October, please note there will be changes to some of our services.

There will still be Council staff available should anything urgent arise with our roads, water, animal control, or welfare needs. Amberley main office and all service centres will be closed on Mon 28 October.
Return to normal hours on Tues 29 October.

𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦

All Hurunui Libraries will be closed on Mon 28 October.
Normal weekend hours for
- Hanmer Springs: Saturday 10am – 2pm
Sunday 10am – 2pm
- Amberley: Saturday 9am -1pm.

𝗥𝗨𝗕𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗛 & 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚

No rubbish and recycling collections will take place on Mon 28 October.

Collections will instead take place:

- Tues 29 October: Hanmer Springs and Mt Lyford
- Wed 30 October: Amberley, Amberley Beach, Leithfield, Leithfield Beach, Cheviot, Gore Bay, Greta Valley, Omihi, Motunau Beach, Scargill and Waipara
- Thurs 31 October: Culverden, Rotherham, Waiau, Hawarden and Waikari.

All Hurunui District Council transfer stations will be closed on Mon 28 October.
Amberley transfer station will open from 10am to 4pm on Tues 29 October.

MainPower Amberley Pool

The MainPower Amberley Pool will be closed on Monday 28 October.
Normal weekend hours for:
- Saturday 1pm-5.30pm
- Sunday 10.30am-5.30pm.
