The Council acknowledges, appreciates and encourages the contributions of people within the Hurunui District community.
To recognise outstanding contribution, the Hurunui District Council annual awards accolades consist of:
- Youth Volunteer Service Award
- Volunteering for Youth Award
and other Community Service Awards that are meaningful to the Hurunui community.
The "Youth Volunteer Service Award" is an award to honor and recognise a Hurunui youth who has demonstrated significant commitment and dedication towards volunteering over the last year.
The "Volunteering for Youth Award" is an award to honor and recognise a Hurunui community member who has demonstrated a significant commitment and dedication volunteering for youth over the last year.
