Becoming a Mentor

The Hurunui Community Driver Mentor Programme (HCDMP) matches up learner drivers with full licenced volunteer mentors to coach and learn safe driving practices to pass the restricted driving test.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR MENTORS THAT

• Hold a full NZ Drivers Licence
• Can commit to 1-2 hours of driver mentoring per week
• Have a passion for driving or inspiring others

ALL MENTORS RECEIVE

• Mentor training from a professional driving school
• Ongoing support from the programme coordinator and driving school
• Use of our programme vehicles to support your Mentees practice
