Hanmer Springs Memorial Hall
Location: Cnr Amuri Avenue and Cheltenham Street, Hanmer Springs
Facilities:
- 150 chairs and 14 trestle tables
- Kitchen equipped with an oven, pie warmer, dish steriliser and microwave. There are about 50 cups and saucers, assorted plates, but no glasses, cutlery, cutting boards etc. Hirers are to provide their own cutlery and crockery
Capacity:
- seating approx 100 comfortably
- standing 250 people

Access to the hall: collect the hall key from the adjoining library.
Library hours: 12noon - 4pm, Monday to Friday and 10am - 2pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Conditions of hire:
A separate bond is required for all bookings (payable before the function). This bond is deposited by the Hurunui District Council and is fully refundable if no damage is incurred. Should there be any cleaning and/or repairs required the costs will be deducted from the bond held and, if the total cost should exceed the amount of the bond held, then the hirer will be charged the balance. An invoice will be sent, once payment is received your booking will be considered as confirmed.
To confirm your booking date this should be sent in to us as soon as possible.

Bookings for dates during the next 12 months are on a first come, first served basis. Provisional bookings may be made up to 24 months prior to the date of hire and a ballot held if there are conflicting bookings. The procedure for making provisional bookings is explained in this document.
