Rates Due Dates
Rates are invoiced by four quarterly instalments each financial year. The financial year is from 1 July to 30 June each year.
The payment dates for each instalment from 1 July are shown below. The 'Due Date' is the date when the instalment becomes payable. The 'Penalty Date' is the day a 10% penalty is applied on any unpaid rates. When a due date falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the due date is the next working day.
Rating Year Due Dates:
Due Date | Penalty Date | |
---|---|---|
Instalment 1 | 20 August | 21 August |
Instalment 2 | 20 November | 21 November |
Instalment 3 | 20 February | 21 February |
Instalment 4 | 20 May | 21 May |
When these dates fall on a weekend or public holiday the next working day will be the due date.
